About Us

Established in 2001, FESTofALL is a communication initiative started by two individuals Mark Dorsey and Pam Jones. Both our company founders are passionate about carer appreciation, acknowledgment and support. They were young carers themselves. As a result, they know on a personal level the challenges carers have to face daily.

Today there are over 2 million carers in Sydney. They take care of family members or friends with terminal illnesses, mental health issues, physical injury, developmental issues, chronic diseases, or some other form of disability. About 10-12% of them are young carers, i.e., they are under the age of 25 years. You’ll be surprised to know some carers are 75 years of age and above as well.

Many carers are financially compromised, and their physical & mental health suffers due to the demands of being a carer. Therefore, they need all the support and love they can get. With our initiative, you can help them by contributing to our cause and generating care awareness across Sydney. Whether you are a health care professional or a student, you can be a support system for carers. If you look closely, you will find one or two among your family and friends. You can start by assisting them to do small tasks and gradually start helping them more.

Often children and young adults providing care to a family member with disabilities don’t know they are carers and need support. They grow up thinking it is their duty and they must alter their lives to accommodate the need of the person requiring assistance. At Fest of All, we work round the clock to help such carers and make them realise they are not alone. Our team consisting of current and former carers provides the best support to help you manage your responsibilities without sacrificing your life. In our view, the best carer is someone who is healthy, happy and appreciated for his/her contributions.

Our Mission

We are driven by the mission to provide aid to every carer in Sydney. We want to have full-time support, financial assistance, and personal care. Our organisation is passionate about carers of all age groups, ethnicity, and region. We understand caring is difficult and often tiresome. It can be socially isolating and financially taxing. Therefore, we as a community must help those who help others. We need to provide opportunities, assistance, and support to carers to improve their standard of living and take care of their physical & mental health.

Our Vision

When we started, our reach was small. However, we are rapidly growing and touching the lives of more carers day by day. Our vision is to reach every child, parent, uncle, aunt, grandparent, friend, neighbour, or sibling who is acting as a carer and needs support. We have a volunteer program and a donation process. All of this helps us realise our vision of appreciating, acknowledging, and supporting carers.

Our Team

We are thankful for all our volunteers and donors for helping us provide carers with the love and support they need. Besides them, we are supported by a team of compassionate and hard-working professionals who help you created care awareness and reach out to carers in need. Our team members work tirelessly to organise meetings, conferences, events, and much more. Also, with their skills, they answer queries and point volunteers in the right direction.

Why Is Care Awareness Important To Us?

Everyone needs love and support. It is essential to take care of people who take care of others. Caring for a disabled individual is tough, and in most cases, isolating. It is easy for carers to feel left being and loose tough with society. It is often hard for carers to keep jobs, friendships, and other social commitments, which can lead to depression or social reclusiveness. Therefore, it is imperative to create care awareness and let people know that they can assist carers in their daily lives & take a little of their burden off.
